Today, I would like to talk you about friendship. I have amazing friends, they are like family to me, but it’s not always been the case.

As I mentioned in one of my previous blog post I am a survivor of different types of abuse. As a young adult, I had trust issues. I could not trust people, and be who I really was. I could not open up about what was going on in my life, and be 100% myself.

The fear of being rejected can paralyse us. It’s all in our head, but we don’t make any moves because it’s scary. We make up stories in our mind, if I do this, this will happen. If I said this, he will say that…

Love can make you say and do stupid things. Sometimes, you cannot even think straight. This feeling is so overwhelming that you forget your name, and feel like there is nothing in your brain.

I like to set the scene before I start anything, so we can be on the same page, and you know what to expect with my writings. Let’s start with the foundation of our house…
