Until you find me…

A couple of weeks ago, I found this music while looking for a song for an Instagram post. I was not looking and I found this.

It’s been a while since I wrote something here. I was busy travelling to France. End of November, I left the UK to spend two months in France. Next week, I am going to another country. It’s exciting!

I am grateful because I spent Christmas and New Year's Eve surrounded by my family members after four years without seeing them. In 2022, I spent Christmas by myself. I could have gone to a friend’s house, but I decided to stay home. I did enjoy my own company in 2022.

In 2023, I needed this time with the people that I love. God opened my eyes while I was with them.

Let’s go back to this song “Until I found you”. I heard this and I added to my playlist on Apple Music. This song is speaking to my heart. I feel connected to this song in this season of my life. The lyrics are so beautiful and I like the melody as well. Wow!

Lyrics :

"Georgia, wrap me up in all your
I want you in my arms
Oh, let me hold you
I'll never let you go again like I did
Oh, I used to say

I would never fall in love again until I found her
I said, "I would never fall unless it's you I fall into"
I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her
I found you…”

Most of the time, I close my eyes when I listen to this song.

Spending time in France surrounded by people in relationship also helped me to see things clearly. I know exactly what I want in a relationship. I want what God wants for me, not a marriage of this world, but a marriage of the Kingdom of God. I would like to know what it’s like to be in a relationship blessed by God.

When God is in the center. When two people want to grow with each other, become the best version of themselves, and become who God created them to be.

A relationship with God’s hand all over it. You see it and you know it’s from God.

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
— Genesis 2:24-25 (NIV)

What’s like to be one with someone emotionally? To be vulnerable in front of each other and feel no shame about it.

I would like to experience a marriage like God intended to be.

This is what I want… What God wants for me….

Fall in love with the man that God has chosen for me.

Marry the man that God has chosen for me.

Be one until death and beyond with the man that God has chosen for me.

This is rare.

It’s down to God’s timing.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

So, let’s see what will happen this year…

Avec amour…
